Untamed and scattershot on the nose, with a strong dose of basil and other green herbs. Feels gummy and flabby, with sweet, bungled flavors that finish bitter and mealy. A wayward, unfocused wine that doesn't do much for the Viognier variety. || Not your usual warm-climate Viognier. It has typical buttercup, acacia and honeysuckle notes, but since it was only 20% barrel fermented it isn't a thick wine. Instead the focus is on apricot, white raisin and citrus flavors.
