Austero is indeed an austere wine with thick intensity and loads of fragrant aromas of spice and ripe cherry. In the mouth, it proves an elegant and perhaps slightly thinner interpretation of Ripasso that would work well with pork or lamb chops. || Aromas of very ripe plum, blackberry and raisin lead the nose of this wine, with a hint of oak.
