Plum, prune, black cherry and toasted oak sensations take center stage in this wine made from 100% Montelpulciano. The rich, dense cherry and crushed blackberry flavors are accented by mint, white pepper and a hint of espresso. Give this a few more years to tame the bracing, but fine tannins. Drink 2015–2019.
