Underbrush, cooking spices, dark berry and scorched earth aromas waft out of the glass. On the firm, full-bodied palate, licorice, tobacco and clove accent the core of ripe black cherry. Firm, well-integrated tannins give it a structured but polished feel. Drink 2018–2028.
