Oak stars in this wine, with its toasty, wood and vanilla aromas and flavors. It's a good wine, but could use greater freshness and intensity, especially at this price.. || Rather rustic, with berry and earth flavors inside some pretty edgy tannins. Finishes dry and astringent, with a touch of cherry. || Some Cabs go into a dip at the age of five, and this may be one of them.
