Of the six Syrahs that make up Lapostolle's Collection series, this is the most distinct, but also the most unusual and proprietary. Soupy, stewy, earthy aromas of tomatoey plum and spice are pure Elqui. The palate is high in acidity and shrill, while the flavor profile is tangy, herbal and zesty. Drink through 2017.
