The blend here is 60% Syrah, 20% Petite Sirah, and 20% Portuguese varieties. It's a nod to the Spanish influence in Southern Oregon, and it comes together beautfully. Aromatic with cedar wood smoke, its flavors recall black tea, tobacco and smoked paprika. The fruit is ripe and full, but it's the nonfruit complexity that captivates.
