Made predominantly from Sangiovese with 8% Canaiolo, this wine begins with aromas of toasted oak, spice, mature black berries and just a whiff of rubber. The palate offers black cherry, white and red pepper, espresso and roasted coffee bean alongside youthful, astringent tannins that need a few years to unwind.
