Some cool earth, leather and smoked meat aromas get this ripe, full-bodied Sangiovese going. The palate is fairly soft, a reminder of blackberry pie. And there's plenty of unmistakable milk chocolate, too. Look at it as a tamed, rich, enjoyable red; a wine well suited to an autumn dinner.
