Structured but accessible, it opens with aromas of mature black cherry, raisin, leather, cake spices and coffee. The round, soft palate delivers fleshy black plum, cinnamon, clove and licorice layered with a milk chocolate note. It's not the most complex Brunello out there but it has succulent fruit and firm tannins. Drink through 2018.
