A rich, balanced Zin that shows the variety's brambly side. Tastes like freshly picked wild blackberries and raspberries, crushed into wine and seasoned with white pepper, cinnamon and a drop of balsamic. || Last year's bottling of this single-vineyard Zin was very good. The '06 is right up there, although the winery has raised the price by four bucks. It's classic Dry Creek Zin, a dry, spicy wine, rich in tannins and long in the finish.
