Whiffs of sunny tangerines are shaded by hints of earth and herb on the nose of this remarkably nuanced spätlese. The palate is juicy and sweet, brimming with ripe yellow-peach and grapefruit flavors, but the long finish is driven again by that slightly savory, dried herb and mineral complexity. Drinks beautifully now but should continue to improve through 2021 and likely beyond.
