Drinks kind of hard and raw now, a very dry, tannic wine. You'll find pretty flavors of blackberries and cherries, but it seems to need time to throw some sediment and chill. Try holding for a few years. || There are structural similarities here with Napa Cabernet. The wine is dry, lush in tannins, balanced in acidity, with ripe but controlled black currant and cherry flavors. Yes, there's a certain briary, wild character, but this is really one heck of a good wine. Drink now through 2009 for its youthful fruit. ||…
