Quite candied and jumpy on the nose, what some might call bug juice. Having spent six months in American oak, it's tight and tough on the palate, with fresh, juicy acidity that's a bit scouring. Tastes much like milk chocolate and candied fruit. || Not bad for a mass-produced wine. The nose has a distinct sweet, candied character that's like marshmallow, and there's also some burnt stem and bramble thrown into the mix. Tastes mildly pickled, stemmy and burnt, with grabby tannins on the finish. 200,000 cases made. |…
