This modestly priced effort is a blend of four Willamette Valley vineyards. Winemaker Laurent Montalieu applies his sophisticated skills to craft a very classy, barrel-fermented, aromatic Pinot Noir. Just the right mix of berries and tart red fruits, with floral nuances and a hint of earthy herb. This delicious, complex wine shows why less expensive vineyard blends often outshine the pricey, single-vineyard Oregon Pinots.
