Rooty aromas are ripe on one hand and lighty herbal on the other. This feels focused and crisp, with good structure and tannins in front of raspberry and cassis flavors. For the most part this is on the money, even with a finish that's flat in feel and earthy in flavor. The blend is 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Malbec.
