This wine doesn't pull itself together very well, perhaps as a result of oak treatments that need additional time to resolve themselves. In any event the flavors are woody, oily and disjointed. || This wine is aging out quickly and will not meet reserve-level expectations for most consumers. The fruit tastes a little cooked and the tannins have a strong stemmy character. Drink up.
