Always one of the most approachable Pinot bottlings from Felton Road, the Bannockburn is a medium-bodied wine in 2009, redolent of earth, smoke and mushrooms. Silky tannins on the finish frame flavors of ripe cherries, dark earth and a hint of espresso. Drink now–2016.
