Punchy tannin and oak wrap around brushy sage and a taste of the mountain site, herbal and rocky in a wet stone kind of minerality. Juicy cassis and black currant provide a brightness of fruit and roundedness that offsets the more powerful concentration that just begs to be paired with grilled meat.
