This Nero d'Avola offers very ripe aromas of stewed prunes and hickory smoke. The wine tastes and feels like a hot climate version of Amarone and offers huge intensity and flavors of raisin, dried prune, oregano and rosemary. Overall, this is a strange, super-ripe wine.
