Years ago Rívola was one of Spain's standout value wines; but over time it has devolved. This version is mulchy and muddled, with heavy roasted fruit and red pepper aromas. The palate is grabby, rubbery and roasted, and raisiny notes work their way onto the flavor profile and finish.
