Here's a straight-laced Barbera d'Asti (aged in stainless steel) with linear aromas of berry fruit and cherry that appear in a direct and immediate manner. There's no great complexity here, nor is there supposed to be. This is a genuine expression of a fundamentally easy-drinking food wine.
