A potent, dark style of Syrah, with aromas of black cherry, generous oak, leather and vanilla. Shows overdrive on the palate, with forceful tannins and concentrated flavors of blackberry, graphite, black licorice and wood resin. Fruity and long on the back end; drink now through 2013.
