A blend of Zweigelt and Merlot, using the best red grapes from the oldest of Kracher's Illmitz vineyards. It has ripe, concentrated fruit, showing some of the heat and alcohol of 2003, but also layering velvet tannins and smooth red fruits. Not imported.
