Balsamic notes, leather, tilled soil, ripe berry and menthol aromas lead the nose along with a whiff of blue flower. The smooth palate shows fleshy black cherry, white pepper, grilled herb and baking spice framed in supple tannins. Open an hour in advance to let this breathe. Already approachable, it will also age well for several years or more.
