Made in the soft, ultraripe, oaky and decadent modern style, this Cab feels a bit heavy and obvious now. It's a very soft wine, offering rich, lush flavors of blackberries, cassis, dark unsweetened chocolate, spices and oak. Easy to like, and could develop bottle complexity with age, but it's a gamble.
