This wine comes from the recently awarded Malibu appellation, and shows promise for the future with perfumey white flowers, toasted marcona almond and a hint of oak smoke on the nose. On the palate, the acidity is present but not overpowering, the ripe apple flesh flavors offset by a grapefruit pith bitterness
