Boasts layers of wood, with black currant and rich white fig flavors, along with dried fruits. This is a ripe, opulent wine reflecting the heat of 2003 in Bordeaux, but still retaining dry tannins that promise aging. || Three elements, already in balance, contribute to the success of this wine. First, the rich fruit, juicy blackberry and mulberry, lifted by acidity. Second, the new wood, which spices the fruit but is already smoothing out the third element, the dark firm tannic layer.
