This 22-acre property produces wines dominated by 90% Merlot. That gives ripe juicy red-fruit flavors, rich tannins and density. There is also a strong streak of acidity that shows vividly. The wine will soften over the next few years and give a delicious drink from 2021. || This is a solid, angular wine, both its structure and its fruit coming together well. It has an underlying new-wood character that is powerful and rich. The tannins taste sweet and are already softening.
