The wine is not named after Austria's emperor, but after a Pitnauer family member. The blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Zweigelt works well, giving a powerful, dry, concentrated wine with big tannins. At this stage, the wood is rather too dominant, but that should soften over the next year.
