La Bandina is a bold, oak-driven blend that opens with sweet notes of spice, vanilla, campfire and tons of berry fruit and mature cherry. It tastes plush and rich in the mouth: This is by no means your standard Valpolicella. || Here's a very different, modern approach to Valpolicella in which this otherwise thin and crisp red blend from northern Italy has been transformed (thanks to careful oak aging) into a rich, modern wine. Lingering tones of black cherry and Indian spice flavor the long finish.
