The Selezione Vigna La Casa is equally sweet and ripe as the estate's base Brunello from the same vintage. What distinguishes this wine, however, is the firmness of its structure and the grainy texture of its tannins. || Menthol, toast and modest berry offset a stern and firmly tannic wine that needs more time in the cellar.
