Nuanced aromatics of smoky red cherry and the slightest tinge of elderberry promise joy. The palate is supported well by unobtrusive, well-handled oak and comes together as an elegant, velvety whole. Edges of spice fizz around the central backbone of acidity. This is lovely and slender, beautiful now but with the structure and stuffing to age. The lingering aftertaste speaks of ripe fruit.
