Aromas of black cherry, clove, black pepper and chocolate lay the groundwork for flavors of ripe black cherry, strawberry, chocolate, fennel bulb and black pepper. A hint of coolness arrives towards the finish in a burst of eucalyptus, but restrained tannins and final notes of bright fruit make for a satisfying experience.
