Pale in color, it has pleasing aromas that mix fruit and barrel with notes of cinnamon, cherry and sarsaparilla. The palate is medium bodied with the oak (30% new French and American) getting just a bit out front of the fruit flavors. || Aged in neutral oak barrels with malolactic fermentation, this medium yellow-colored wine brings notes of wheat cereal, peach and lees. It's dry and broad in feel with tart acidity, seeming slightly advanced for its age.
