Nice, smooth and dry, a small-production bottling of great charm. But needs time to resolve certain difficulties. Tasted in the summer of 2010, it was young and closed down, unyielding. But the lush texture and generous core of mooshu plum sauce, blackberries, licorice, pepper and sandalwood seems just waiting to bust out. Best mid-2011 and for a couple years afterward. || Opens with a gorgeous mélange of white pepper, cherry and raspberry fruit, and hints of cocoa, leather, coffee, smoky oak and dusty brown spices…
