This small-production Syrah from Aconcagua (250 cases) is rosy and rusty in color, with leathery, roasted, almost cheesy aromas of spicy, savory berry fruits. The palate shows tomatoey zest along with herbal, brambly, spicy flavors of plum and raspberry. On the finish, this is rooty, herbal and tomatoey in flavor, with a touch of chocolate and a foresty quality. Drink through 2019.
