This is a pretty great deal for a wine of this quality, made by consulting winemaker Shane Finley. Mellowed in flavor and oak, it takes time to open in the glass, but does, imparting forest floor, cardamom and a bite of bittersweet cranberry-raspberry within a medium-bodied, smooth texture.
