Surprisingly tannic, considerably more so than the wonderful '05. There's a sting of astringency that shuts down the palate and emphasizes the dryness. Underneath are the blackberries, black currants and grilled meat of a fine red wine. The blend is Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot and Malbec. Now–2012.
