This Syrah brings to mind that Sade song, Smooth Operator. It's all velvet in the mouth, with soft, caressing flavors of chocolate, blackberries and toast. As the wine airs in the glass, the complexities pile up, making it ever more interesting. It's so easy to drink now, there's no reason to age it further.
