The blend in this cuvée is 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah, aged in second-use oak. The oak provides hints of baking spices on the nose and some cedary notes on the palate, nicely accenting the bright black-cherry fruit in this medium-bodied wine. Soft tannins combine with mouthwatering acids on the finish. Drink now–2016.
