It's not Clonakilla's top-of-the-line Shiraz-Viognier, but it's still darn good, and in its savory notes of tapenade, leather and peppery spice, it provides a nice alternative to common fruit-driven Shiraz. On the palate, this is beefy and potent, with some supporting blueberry fruit, a creamy texture and a long, spicy finish.
