Made from a blend of 65% Pinot Bianco, 25% Friulano, 10% Riesling Renano and aged in barriques, this opens with aromas of oak, toast and lemon zest. These carry over to the palate along with vanilla, apple and butterscotch. The hefty presence of alcohol throws this wine off balance. || Roberto Scubla has crafted a gorgeous and luminous blend of Pinot Bianco, Tocai Friulano (back in 2006 the grape could still be called “Tocai”) and Riesling Renano.
