This is the first red wine to be released that was made by winemaker Christophe Paubert, and it points the way to a very bright future. Roughly two thirds Merlot and one third Cabernet Sauvignon, this fresh young wine is the color of black cherry soda, and tastes like black cherry candy. Tannins are supple and light, with just a hint of toffee as the wine winds down gracefully. Fine value.
