Extremely smooth and inviting from the beginning through the midsection and onto the finish. Toffee and warm cobbler aromas start it off and lead to a textured, elegant palate with toasty, nutty flavors and a pinch of salt. The finish is robust, and at all points it's a take-charge wine. An amontillado for connoisseurs and anyone eager to enjoy the finer points of the style.
