While easy to grow in Virginia's vintage-variant climate, there still needs to be some work in the cellar for this Southwestern France transplant. The bottling is a variety of flavors and textures that don't quite seem to meld: honeycomb wax, citron and a slight char seem disjointed on the flabby palate.
