The small amount (10%) of Chardonnay in this blend has softened and rounded the acidity and crisp edge of the majority Chenin Blanc. The result is a wine with apple and pear flavors that's ripe and ready to drink. || Crémant de Loire is the Loire-wide sparkling wine appellation. This wine, with its blend of Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay, shows a crisp character, its acidity given brightness by lemon and green-plum fruit flavors. There's an attractive edge of minerality to add some tautness to the wine.
