This is truly a tour de force; a domestic Port that is not either sticky, too sweet, too hot or unidentifiable as being in any way related to true Port. Credit the use of Touriga Nacional for two thirds of the blend; the rest is Petite Sirah. Intense, extraordinary power in the mixed fruits, enlivened with spicy citrus, clove, orange peel and pungent blossoms.
