A great find, this is fully ripe but not too full bodied, offering opulent dark plum and black currant aromas, broad and rich flavors, and a plush, velvety texture. Subtle cedar and spice tones from oak barrels add complexity to the dark fruit notes, and soft tannins fill in the texture and help the finish linger.
