Aromas suggesting baked plum, menthol, aromatic herb and dark cooking spice lead the nose. The taut, lively palate offers black cherry, espresso and star anise alongside firm, fine-grained tannins and nervous acidity. It's still a bit austere and needs a few more years to unwind. Drink 2018–2025.
